Attorney John Setzer’s life journey has taken him across the globe, from growing up in Germany and South Korea to calling several U.S. States home, including Colorado, Oklahoma, and Missouri. He ultimately landed in Irving, Texas, where he graduated from high school before earning his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas Tech University.
John began his professional career in the field of information technology, where he spent thirteen years honing his problem-solving skills before deciding to follow a long-time passion for the law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M School of Law and has since dedicated the majority of his career to helping clients navigate the complexities of family law. His practice focuses on divorce, child custody, child support, and enforcement matters, where he is known for providing clear, straightforward advice tailored to each client’s needs.
In addition to his family law work, John spent time as a Felony Prosecutor in Johnson County, Texas, gaining valuable experience and a deep understanding of the legal system from multiple perspectives. Today, John combines his diverse background, practical approach, and dedication to client success to guide individuals toward effective solutions during some of life’s most challenging times.
