Daniel P. Sullivan was born in South Bend, Indiana, and developed an early connection to the legal profession through his father, a graduate of Notre Dame Law School. In 1976, his family moved to Arlington, Texas, and he has called the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex home ever since.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, cum laude, from the University of Dallas, a private Catholic liberal arts university. He subsequently attended Southern Methodist University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate. Daniel has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2006 and has practiced continuously in Tarrant County throughout his legal career.
He focuses his practice on personal injury trial law and currently serves as a managing litigation attorney in Bailey & Galyen’s Catastrophic Injury Department. He has represented clients in both state and federal courts and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas. His experience includes both trial and appellate practice, and he is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is also a member of the Texas Bar College, a professional society of legal scholars.
Outside the office, Daniel enjoys attending concerts, experimenting with amateur mixology, playing board games, and spending time with family and loved ones. He is also a proud caretaker of a silver Labrador named Obi—after Obi-Wan Kenobi—and two cats, Gandalf and Fiona.
